In late 2018 Neon Atlas frontman Kieran Ring began working on solo material in West Kerry with producer Kevin J Power. The result is the multi-genre 7-track album The Sweetest Kill.
Unashamedly drawing in influences which are ostensibly rooted in 1980s nostalgia Ring felt the body of work was still incomplete. Working on new compositions he enlisted the help of renowned Berlin based producer Ciaran O’Shea ‘
Garnering significant airplay and media attention with the Indie-Pop single A Distance Much Too Far and the up-tempo, synth laden Ghost and Satellites, Ring highlights his diversity as an artist showcasing a more delicate, Indie-Electro tinged side to his solo project. A collection of songs for the introverted but one that also leaves the listener longing for the dancefloor.
